Child Safety Standards
OrdinaryMonday has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. Content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors — including child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — is strictly prohibited, will be blocked or removed, and will be reported to the relevant authorities.
An adults-only platform
OrdinaryMonday is exclusively for adults. Registration requires a date of birth and is refused for anyone under 18. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed. This is a deliberate, structural safety decision: our platform is not designed for, marketed to, or open to children.
Prohibited content and conduct
The following are prohibited by our Terms and Conditions and result in immediate content removal and account termination:
- Any content that sexualizes, sexually depicts, or exploits a minor (CSAM)
- Grooming, sextortion, or the solicitation of minors in any form
- Content that facilitates, promotes, or normalizes the sexual exploitation of children
- Attempts by minors to access the platform
Automated content screening
Every post and reply, including any attached photo, is screened by an automated safety system at the moment it is submitted, before it becomes visible to anyone. Content the system identifies as clearly harmful — including suspected CSAM — is blocked and is never published. Content the system is less certain about is referred to our moderation team for human review. Automated screening runs alongside user reporting, not instead of it.
Authors are told in the app when a post is blocked. If you believe a post was blocked in error, contact us at the address below and a person will review the decision.
In-app reporting
Every post and reply can be reported directly in the app via the post menu (“Report post”). Reports are queued for human review by our moderation team. Users can additionally block other users, which removes all interaction between the two accounts in both directions.
Moderation and enforcement
Content flagged by automated screening or by a user report is reviewed promptly. Where a violation of these standards is established, we remove the content, terminate the responsible account, and preserve and disclose evidence as required by applicable law. Suspected CSAM imagery is not examined by our own moderators; assessment of such material is carried out by the specialist child-protection organizations and law-enforcement authorities equipped and authorized to handle it.
Reporting to authorities
Confirmed or suspected CSAM is reported to the relevant national law-enforcement authorities and recognized child-protection hotlines in the affected jurisdictions. We comply with applicable child safety laws in every region where OrdinaryMonday operates and cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
Contact
Our designated child safety contact can be reached at info@ordinarymonday.com. If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement first.
